Senior Peer Informational Display

The Senior Peer Program offers several support groups and classes for both men and women that provide a safe non-judgmental atmosphere where members can share their feelings and coping strategies with those going through similar experiences.

The goals of these confidential, peer-facilitated support groups are: promote fellowship and lessen the feeling of isolation; give support and encouragement to others; work through negative emotions; strengthen self-esteem; and educate, inform, exchange ideas and resources.

Support groups are facilitated by and consisting of peers, persons age 60 and beyond and are a free and confidential service of the Senior Peer Program.
